Champagne Baron-Fuenté is owned and operated by The Baron-Fuenté family.  Gabriel Baron's family has owned a vineyard in the Charly-sur-Marne since the 17th century.  Dolorès Fuenté's family emigrated from Spain to France.  Gabriel's father gave him one hectare of land in 1961 for the occasion of his marriage to Dolorés, and in 1967 they established the House of Baron-Fuenté.  The first production was created and sold directly from their home.  In 1982, daughter Sophie joined her parents.  In 1992, son Ignace joined the fast growing operation which had accumulated 13 hectares of vineyards on the banks of the Marne.  Today, Champagne Baron-Fuenté is managed and operated by Sophie and Ignace.  Ignace, assisted by his chef de cave Orlando, is in charge of the elaboration of all production.  The company now owns 38 hectares of vineyards and the Baron-Fuenté brand.

Champagne Baron-Fuenté elaborates four "ranges" of Champagne.  Three in the Grands Cépages range.  These cuvées are of a single varietal: Pinot Munier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.  Four are in the Espritrange.  These cuvées include a blended Brut, Blanc de Blanc, a Grand Cru blend, and a blended Rosé saignée.  Four are in the Classic range.  These cuvées include the flagship wine named Traditionoffered in demi and brut, a Milésime blend, a rosé blend named after the founder Rosé Dolorés, and a Grand Réserve brut blend.  The last and newest range is the Organic range.  This certified organic blended wine is named Galipettes.

Baron-Fuenté is committed to the success of their brand.  They have dedicated staff members for the US market.  They regularly work in the market and participate in champagne events and tastings.  They recently updated the aesthetics of their packaging for the U.S. market including the labels.  Marketing materials and premium packaging are available.  Contact Atlanta Improvement Company for the availability of Champagne Baron-Fuenté in your area.
